I didn't grow up thinking, I want to be an Angel Therapy® Practitioner. A series of life changing events occurred that led me to this hobby.

I was led to this unique line of work through a series of extraordinary experiences that occurred in my personal life. In 1993, during a time of soul-searching and questioning, I asked for guidance in my life. In a manner I can best describe as divine intervention, I was guided, very loudly and clearly, through discernment regarding a relationship.
Years later, in 1999, a similar experience occurred in my work life, which caused me to feel compelled to change direction. Boldly, yet humbly, I asked the universe to bring a mentor to my path. A few weeks later, in a most unexpected place and time, a woman appeared in my life.
Sitting in the silver-haired woman’s home, thinking I was there to pick-up nutritional supplements, I noticed my heart skip a beat when I glanced down at a table and noticed an intriguing item -- a deck of angel cards. This led to a life changing Angel Reading and an immediate connection with this newly-found mentor, a student of Doreen Virtue.
In a matter of weeks I was in Newport Beach, California participating in Dr. Doreen Virtue’s Angel Therapy Practitioner (ATP) Training Program. Dr. Virtue, Ph.D., a psychotherapist and fourth generation metaphysician, is the author of I’d Change My Life if I Had More Time and Divine Guidance, among others. Doreen has appeared on Oprah, The View, CNN, Good Morning America, and various other programs and is the founder and former director of Womankind Hospital in Nashville, TN and a former administrator at Woodside Women's Hospital in the San Francisco bay area.
Alongside 150 other attendees, including counselors, a buddhist monk, nurses, doctors, scientists, Reiki masters, psychotherapists, a Native American healer and many more (including a Catholic nun who just happened to be the first person I did an Angel Reading for) I received my para-professional training by Dr. Doreen Virtue in 2000 and received her Angel Therapy® certificate, a designation by the American Board of Hypnotherapy in Irvine, California in 2001.

of the messages that are all around us -- be it from an inspirational card, a random act of kindness or a bird that visits us at just the right moment.

Has
anyone ever asked you for your read on something? Perhaps some
potential job opportunities? Relationship dynamics? Which pair of shoes
to buy? Though much more about life work and building relationships and
not about shoes, clients have been asking me to read for them since
2001. Reading in this sense is about gaining perspective for self
growth and positive change.
Not at all about future telling, these Readings are like yoga for the mind. The experience is about inner reflection and contemplation about handling current life experiences with greater ease, grace and joy, in ways that bring about best outcomes for all involved. It's about flexibly looking at the big picture (and how to engage with the big picture) in a way that fosters personal evolution and the cultivation of possibility.
My Readings begin with the client sharing intentions, questions or goals.
It is common for clients to ask questions regarding relationships, work,
health, new chapters in life or life
purpose, for example. Some come with no questions at all -- only a
desire to listen.
Using a keen sense of intuition that came about as a result of para-professional certificate training (by Dr. Doreen Virtue, designated by the American Board of Hypnotherapy), along with various decks of inspirational cards, I share reflections, insight and inspiration. Throughout the reading, a natural dialogue occurs in order to create a lasting and meaningful experience. I enjoy leaving my clients with skills or tools that assist them in applying the information in a way that is gentle and empowering.
I've been working with clients worldwide since 2001 and offer Readings in-person and via telephone, email and Skype.

The phone number to call in on will be given upon receipt of payment and confirmation of appointment time.
- You phone me at the designated time and the call can be recorded for your use, upon request, for a small fee (see below).
- An approximate 72 hours turn around time can be expected for receiving your recording via email, which can then be played from your computer as an audio stream or downloaded to your computer, iPod or MP3 player. (Most computers are compatible.)

Gather a group of four to six friends, including yourself, that would like to have mini-readings (20 minute reading/$15 each).

"ANGELS"
A Global Perspective
Benevolent helpers and angel archetype lore is prevalent in classic mythology, American Indian history, Christianity, Celtic tradition, Rastafarianism (Go Bob Marley), Buddhism, earthen spirituality, the Essenes, Zoroastrianism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, modern superhero lore and more. Versions of helpful messengers include multicultural deities, apparitions from saints or holy ones and animal or nature totems. The concept also comes into play as we regard our anscestors, a connectivity with all of life, or what American Indians refer to as "all my relations in the sacred hoop.”
I remember a time when I coached clients over the phone from my geodesic dome in Ashland, Oregon in 2003. I had been reading a book at the time that shared the idea of creating sacred space for those we work with, suggesting that we place symbolic or positive feeling items in the space or say helpful intentions as we tidy the area.
Realizing that the floors could really use a good cleaning, I decided to get up early in the morning to do some mopping, though I wasn't confident that I'd have enough time in my schedule.
As I was getting ready to retire that evening, a volunteer knocked at my door. She was passing through the area on the way to a workshop I knew about and wondered if there was any volunteer work she could do in exchange for putting her tent on the land for the night. She'd be staying overnight in town and then driving through to the neighboring state the next day. I shared that I could have some clerical work for her in the morning and we agreed on a time to meet.
The next morning, I awoke very early and decided to get to that mopping job. To my surprise, as I approached the dome door, the volunteer crawled out on her hands and knees. "I hope you don't mind," she explained. "I woke up early and didn't see anyone around, so I helped myself to a scrub brush and cleaned your floor. I felt inspired to think positive thoughts for all who would do work here."
The story still blows my mind and I still don't fully understand how the seemingly random event occurred, since I shared my special intentions for the floor scrubbing with no one. Perhaps she was an angel on my path?
